Bio

After attending The High School of Art&Design in New York City I received a BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts. Starting as a painter i was required to take a photography class. I got hooked on the magic of the darkroom. After working for Rebecca Blake and Hal Davis, I freelanced as a photography assistant for five years.

I love music and reading so I wanted to photograph musicians and authors. My photographic scope expanded to include photographing CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies and charity events. Due to my love of cinema ( I am a film buff), I directed and produced a music video and several other short pieces for the charities I worked for.  My first documentary film “It Happened in Havana: A Yiddish Love Story” was released in 2014 and has been shown by 8 film festivals and seen on PBS in New York and Florida.

Memberships: APAG, NYWIFT and on the events committee of The American Marketing Association’s New York Chapter
